The price is very expensive compared to nothing, the rooms are very bad and there are no toilets, the shower and toilets are shared with other people and it really feels like a shower in the army. The place in general was very depressing, the air conditioner barely cooled, there are no basic things like a kettle and a fridge, so for the price this is rude and unfair, the price should be $10 or $15 at worst per night did you a huge favor and you'll save more money for a better quality hotel in Venice, I don't recommend going anywhere near

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. We booked two nights, only ended up staying one because we woke up covered in 100+ bed bug bites. We tried to talk to the owner about it and he verbally abused us as well as accused us of lying. He told us the bites were from mosquitoes but we had the window shut from the MOMENT we set our stuff down. The property is refusing to refund us, not even a half refund for the night we didn’t stay. We were sworn at and yelled at until we left, and the property refuses to answer emails, phone calls, or even address the booking website when they contact the property. Don’t stay here unless you want to leave covered in bed bug bites and traumatized. On top of this, the bathroom was disgusting, and there were pee soaked towels everywhere, and the kitchen was filthy. See photos for SOME of the many, many painful bites we left with.

After reading the reviews I was initially a bit worried but we had no issues. In the spring the rooms are a comfortable temperature and the mattresses were in brand new condition. The building is a bit old but still well maintained. The service was considerate, family-run, and helpful and the location is quiet and fairly safe. Our rooms were cleaned every day and the shared bathroom remained mostly clean even with multiple people using it. The location is close to the main train station of Venice but a little far from from the touristy areas (about a 25 min walk). Overall, we had a great stay!

It’s not that expensive alright, don’t expect much. But I was there in mid summer and it was very hot in the room, so you had to use the AC. Well, the AC is broken and louder than a train… sleeping not really possible… The only saving grace is the manager, he’s a nice guy, but not being able to sleep is sadly only 1 star. PS, yes the room has a window, we opened it one night, we had about 20 moskito bites each… so unless the hotel fixes the ACs, don’t go there
