Honestly the capsule isn't too bad itself. But my locker that's meant to come with it had an issue and would not open. I had a very large rucksack as I was travelling long term and needed to put it somewhere. A couple people came to take a look but tried to blame it on me and told me that I had to take my rucksack into the capsule and sleep with it. Absolute joke, probably avoid

My capsule had hair from at least a half dozen other people. Guessing they are difficult to clean. The mattress is thin and underneath is a metal floor. Single pillow was not terribly fluffy. If you are a princess who's kept awake by a pea under her mattress, you may wanna book the Four Seasons instead. There is no noise insulation but lots of white noise. How quiet things are for you will depend on whoever else you'll be sleeping near and how committed to the rules they are. Common areas have power, seats and a table to work from but not much else. Toilets are everything you'd expect from shared toilets. Hot and cold drinking water is free if you have a container to drink from. Hotel is a 15 minute walk from a MRT station, some of that walk is under cover. The lake is also lovely to explore. But walking from Chow Kit is only for the most adventurous as pedestrian access is bad. Don't try it. But if you do there is a lovely seafood restaurant 20 minutes walk/run that sells beer and food late. There is no place to get coffee or a snack near the hotel. Your first cup of coffee may require completing a train ride. Capsule offers little security but does come with a locker. I like the idea of capsule stays but I think it's early days in the capsule revolution and improvements will come.

The staff is warm and friendly. The Riccarton Capsule hotel is clean and quiet! The fun part is living out a child hood dream while being comfortable. It’s also close to a park that has a lake and city view. Subway Putra mall is close as well. Enjoy this gem in KL!

riccarton capsule hotel titiwangsa please read this !!! The USB port has no electricity, the TV in the capsule doesn't work, the air conditioner doesn't cool even though the temperature has been set to 18°. they provide sales of soft drinks and also cup noodles in the lobby, but don't accept cashless payments, when I made a cash payment there was no change and the waitress at that time was very unfriendly !!

Great stay for backpackers. Tall person (170cm++) might not be quite comfortable. Got basic amenities like soap, shampoo & towel. Slippers & prayer mats need to ask at the front desk. The staff are so nice & helpful. There's no specific praying area, but maybe can use the corridor. Near to Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, at night lots there's of food stalls open. 5 min walk to MRT Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
