We loved our hotel. It was quiet and clean and our rooms were quite spacious. They have a good breakfast. Service was excellent.

The experience has been lacking. We paid 250 euros for a room then a extra 100 euros for a slightly better room with a view. The original view was of an ugly compressed courtyard. The room is decent. The air works well for the summer heat. The shower drain gets stopped easily causing a pool at the feet and eventual flooding of the bathroom. The light in the closet was motion activated and turned off every 10 seconds when packing and getting dressed. They only gave towels for 1 person. The man working at the front desk was slow and incompetent. He forgot simple things that we told to him and it took him very long to respond or to complete tasks. Not someone who should be working at a high quality hotel. We had little time at this hotel and the time we had was bad.

This used to be a good, solid hotel. After staying 3 times before, we looked forward to our stay, but ended up being very, very disappointed. One of the main attractions at this hotel is the pool. While the pool was open, it was in poor condition with loose tiles that felt unsafe. They also decided to remove bathropes from the hotel, and there were no towels by the pool. You are supposed to bring your own towel from the room, and then use the same chlorine soaked towel after. Ordering more towels had an exactly 50 % success rate. I do understand the concept of cost savings, but removing bathropes from a high end hotel - especially when there’s a pool - seems downright stupid. Cleaning was abysmal. Service was abysmal - during our stay (apart from the last day) we more or less only saw the same poor receptionist running the hotel. Again - not smart. The advertised outdoor area, where we were looking forward to a coffee and a spritz, was under construction (zero workers present though) and used as a garbage dumb - unacceptable during spring. Products which used to be Molton Brown are now an in-house brand of incredible poor quality, and no new amenities were given during a 4 night stay. Not staying again and I suggest you do the same.

Very good experience: Large and well organized room in great location. Close to city center but not in crowded area. Deluxe room was large and well organized: bathroom (circa 6 sqm) segregate wardrobe and “home office corner” (circa 4 sqm) made the stay very comfortable. Breakfast was combination of Italian and continental style and the veranda/garden outside gave a better taste to everything. Personnel available and responsive (all around the clock). Hygiene very good! My only regret was not to use the pool Additional details: 4 days stay I was with my partner Type of holiday: Romantic trip Age range: 35-40 years
