Horrible experience! I booked through Agoda, and both Agoda and the hotel confirmed the booking by email. After driving for 6 hours I reached the hotel, only to be informed that they had cancelled the booking and that the hotel was full. They had only one room left with no windows and smelling awfully from moisture and fungus. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, and only explained that it was the booking system's fault, which is not very probable since the booking was already confirmed by the same system.

Lower quality than you would expect for the price, very basic breakfast. Electricity does not stay on in room when you leave, so fridge is pointless and cannot leave anything charging which is a cheap tactic, bathroom also floods as the floor is not designed well and will leave water all over the bathroom floor for hours, adding to the smell of damp in the room

Great location, big rooms and great staff. I've been staying here on and off for at least 4 times the last 2 months and got a great experience everytime. Very conveniently located. Everything in Chiang Mai old town is in walking distance and else cabs and busses are readily available.
