Wife and I stayed here for a few nights while visiting Japan. The rooms and bathrooms are small, and the walls are thin and can hear other guests hooting and hollirin in the next room. But the staff at this hotel are the most friendly and accommodating people. Really close to Hatagaya Station (less than a 5 min walk) which is just a stop away from Shinjuku and Shibuya. Price was fair and comes with a free breakfast. A few restaurants near the hotel as well. Would recommend to any solo traveler or for anyone who just needs a place to stay for a few nights that's not in the major cities.

Muslim Traveler here from singapore! Staying in Sakura Hotel Hatagaya was so convienent and pleasant! I visited Japan back in 2015 and stayed here too so when i came back again it was a nostalgic experience haha As a Muslim Traveler it provides halal breakfast and halal cafe from all over the world ! Their staff was also proficient in English so the communication was Easy too! Other than that, all the review regarding on thr locations are true regarding on the nearby train station hatagaya station and to shinjuku Station / shinjuku bus terminal. Definitely recommend!

Secured, near Hatagaya station of Keio line, has it's own cafe, there are nearby restaurants. The only minor downside is the lack of sound proofing. I can hear people talking outside of my room

What can I say if you are looking for something affordable then this is a good spot. Don’t try to compare the room you get with what’s on the hotel web site. What I was expecting and what I got was a shock. But what can I say the bed was clean enough said. Breakfast was limited enough to get the day started. Dont skip out on the soup and toasted bread 🍞 with peanut 🥜 butter 🧈 toasted it goes great. The coffee was very simple juice was doable. If you need extra anything ask the front desk. They also have a list of item for loan with limited supplies. Found multiple mosquito 🦟 in my room the hunt begins.

I had a long layover (20 hrs) flying back from BKK. My friend,who lives in Shinjuku recommended Sakura Hotel for me on this particular trip. The room itself was your normal small Tokyo hotel room. I was not expecting a very large room so it worked for me:) The room was very clean and had everything I needed. The front desk rep (Preddy) was very friendly and actually recommended a few great restaurants to check out in the area!!!
