Room was fresh and newish. Bathrooms were spacious for this region. Excellent cleanliness in the hotel. Parking was ample and location was very good for food and shopping. My feedback to the hotel would be: you need a coffee/tea maker in the room more than a mini bar. Also it’s strange that you have a door sensor and a fob pass for the door. This means the hotel can see when you door is not only accessed but each times it’s opened… worried me that there were security issues. Finally the sauna is connected to a private gym so it seems and it was a dingy and smelly. Didn’t end up using it as a result. Overall, I was glad to have stayed here with my family and look forward to visiting again one day. Update: The hotel management response was surprising. She/he made the effort to rebuttal my feedback on the door monitoring and coffee maker, but ignore the dingy spa comment which they do proudly advertise on their site. The lights did not turn on automatically when the door opened contrary to the suggestion made by the hotel.

This is a great hotel for families. It's conveniently located close to the Pasila train station and the Mall of Tripla. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel has an exceptional gym comprising three separate areas with different kinds of equipment. There is also a good children's playroom area in the lobby. We'll certainly try to stay here on our next family trip to Helsinki

Really tiny room but nice bed. View over nothing but hey, I wasn't there to take in Helsinki but to attend the expo. Very nice breakfast buffet in the morning and kind staff.

We were here for two night Scandic hotels will be my last choice from now on. Room was cold and wifi was not working. When we asked reception, they said there is a renovation in air conditioner and heating system. I asked why do you accept guest and reply was this, we can't close hotel because of this. Wifi was not working in our floor and they couldn't solve it because it was handling from Sweden and take time. After several claim They said a person came and check temperature in the room(when we were outside) and it was 23 degree that is normal indoor temp in Finland. I just asked a staff to come and feel and after one whole day complain, just one staff came and confirmed room is cold. Nothing even one buttle water was inside Breakfast was not good too
