This is an older, budget motel in Kamloops that is well................budget and old. It sort of worked for what we wanted, a place to stay, but we would not stay there again. Needs lots of updates, is pretty clean but not well maintained. Had trouble getting the living room heater to work, the T.V. needed lots of "coaxing" to actually work (with limited channels to chose from) and the strength of the Wifi in the evening wavered (I am thinking it is a cable based Wifi which explains that). The little restaurant next door is cute, has the feel of an old time diner (with that sort of menu) attentive staff and reasonable prices. In the summer months the place turns into a dormitory for Rocky Mountain Rail tours staff. A very good use for the place.

No experience with the inn side of things. The restaurant used to be amazing, went back for the first time since they changed hands and will not be going back. Food quality is not what it used to be. No flavor, brown fries and most of the menu is the same price No matter the item.

Have eaten at Scott!s Inn many times since 1986. Very disappointing breakfast this a.m.. Under cooked not brown hash browns. Order was mixed up with my brothers. Eggs and whole breakfasts were cold. Barely any butter on the toast. Very disappointing at $4.00 a glass for orange and apple juice. Use to be reasonable, but over $40.00 was a bit much to accept considering the meals weren't that spectacular. Portions definitely shrunk as prices rose.

The hotel is ok, the relation with the price is good enough, the room smelled damped, the toilet have some some issues because doesn’t enough force to flush correctly, during the day the place is noisy but at 8-9 pm was quiet, is a small hotel, so you can hear everything, the service at the lobby was great, they have parking and restaurant, the rooms have coffee maker and microwave, also they have a power outlet at the side table that was great!
