Heart of everything. Elegantly decorated, great staff and the rooms are beautiful. Most recent time I stayed here I received a view of the CN tower which made up for the noisy neighbours next door. Valet parking is reasonable and the bar downstairs always have great drinks to try out. Highly recommend this place.

I recently stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel in Toronto, which boasts a prime location in a vibrant area. However, my experience was mixed. The check-in process was disappointing; I was made to feel unwelcome, which dampened my initial excitement. My room, while beautifully made up, was missing several amenities advertised on their website. However, the effort of the room service and housekeeping teams was commendable, despite some minor cleanliness issues I noticed. The furniture varied in quality, with some pieces feeling more suited to a motel than a luxury hotel, although the overall decor was pleasing. The in-floor heating, a feature I was looking forward to, was a letdown as it barely worked, warming just a couple of tiles. On the culinary front, the food was exceptional, and the room service staff was fantastic. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff didn't match this standard, coming across as abrasive and semi-rude, which was off-putting. Despite these setbacks, most of the hotel team were wonderful and made my stay better. In summary, while the Shangri-La has much to offer in terms of location and food, there are areas where it falls short, particularly in the realms of hospitality and room features. My experience was a mix of luxury and disappointment, leaving me with mixed feelings about my stay. With all of that said, I do recommend a stay here overall.

Stayed for a few nights in a suite on the 15th floor and it was fantastic. The room was of a very high standard with high quality features and excellent fit and finish. The big jacuzzi bath looking out over the city is perfect to relax in after walking around for a day. In room dining available through the tablet computer is very useful, arrives quickly and the food is very good. I would definitely stay here again!! 5*

The hotel itself is very nice and just as you would expect from a Shangri-la, but there are details that need to be addressed such as towels with holes, the making up of the rooms and replenishing of essentials - including tea bags -, and so on. But those are easy things to fix. We also had a slightly frightening security experience, so entry to the hotel needs better looking at, as well as better/more visible night security. Having an all night security person by the lifts would be a welcome addition.

This hotel is nice and full of luxury with nice people and rooms. This place will make your day everyday with all of the energy from everywhere. The rooms are nice and have very good showers. The bathroom have a TV in it and it sounds good. The food and drink menu are very good with quality taste. Every night there is entertainment in the lobby with a relax vibe. I like it and will return in the future for sure.
