Really enjoyable hotel. Staff is attentive and friendly, rooms really nice and functional. Streaming service from own device works. Gym could be better, heavier weights and a cable tower instead of a cardio machine.

Our stay at SIDE Design Hotel was a comfortable blend of home and luxury. Their staff was very nice and helpful and every need was met with a smile. The hotel bar, surprisingly delightful, became a highlight even for someone who usually doesn’t linger by the barstool. But crucially the breakfasts were full but familiar, lacking the dazzle but delivering the day’s first comfort. The pool and spa were a nice treat, large and warm water. Our room, a sanctuary of plush dreams, was surprisingly one of the most comfortable rooms we stayed in, with standout bathrooms and they supplied a nice big dog bed for our four-legged pal. Located a short walk from the subway, the whole city is at your doorstep, the center itself only took 10-15 mins to walk. SIDE Design Hotel might not rewrite the five-star rulebook, but we loved it and if I found myself in Hamburg, I would definitely stay there again as it is a truly great place to stay.

Unfortunately not worth the price or 5 star rating. Rooms are pretty outdated, not very clean, bedding was VERY uncomfortable with cheap cushions and blankets from unbreathable fabric. One of the lesser hotels I stayed at and not at all what you expect for this price and star rating. However the staff was friendly, the location is incredible and the bath + gym were quite nice. Will not visit again.

The hotel really surprised me, I thought it would just be a plan boring hotel but it ended up not being so bad. I would say the room was nothing breathtaking but it was cozy and clean. The only thing I disliked about the room was the glass window in the bathroom wall, making the bathroom visible. The service was pretty good to and the hotel staff were all very nice. The hotel is essentially in the middle of everything and In walking distance to all the shopping stores.
