Six Senses Samui

Quiet opulence. Setting and views, from every vantage on the property including rooms, is breathtaking. Service is top notch and incredibly thoughtful, fitting of a 5 star resort. On the morning of our early departure, we requested lattes before the coffee service was open. Our GEM, Khun Timmy, went off property to get lattes for us. Amazing. Food was incredible, if not with somewhat captive pricing, but excellent regardless. Used the spa multiple times and it was incredible, along with free wellness activities that were a delight. Cannot recommend SSS higher and will be back asap!

My husband and I recently had the opportunity to spend three nights at the beautiful Six Senses Samui. We traveled from the United States so upon arrival we had been traveling 20+ hours. Our arrival at the resort was very welcoming as we were greeted with friendly smiles, cold towels and a special drink. The manager of the resort, Marieke Dijkhuis, even took the time to greet us personally and welcome us. We were assigned a "Guest Experience Maker, "GEM" and downloaded an app on our phone where we could easily communicate with our GEM. Our GEM was Aum and she went above and beyond to be sure we enjoyed our stay. She coordinated when our villa was cleaned, arranged for transportation, made dinner reservations and she even sent us a whole itinerary of ideas for the second part of our stay in Bangkok. She even helped coordinate a late check-out for us on the day we departed. Our villa, an Ocean Front Pool Villa Suite, was the most luxurious and breathtakingly beautiful room we have ever stayed in. It was massive with a beautiful king bed, two bathrooms, large patio with a large infinity pool and two separate sitting areas. The view.....it was beyond words. The villa was completely private and we never shut our blinds at night because we loved waking up to the beautiful view every morning. There was also a beautiful outside private shower that we used everyday and it was wonderful. We were also supplied with fresh local fruit in our villa everyday and a bottle of chilled champagne was waiting for us in our villa when we checked in. Much effort goes into the sustainability on the property. Our favorite aspect of this was visiting the "farm" where we could collect eggs in the morning and bring them to the chef to cook for our breakfast. We also loved feeding the goats with the supplied leaves everyday. Aum arranged for a visit to Elephant World Samui which was a wonderful experience feeding and bathing the rescued elephants. It was educational and exciting to experience first hand. My husband and I had a reservation at table #99 at Dining on the Rocks. Wow, what an experience. It was a private, intimate dining experience on a platform overlooking the water. We were not rushed and were able to enjoy a cocktail on a special chaise lounge before moving to our table for dinner. If you are visiting the resort, I highly recommend that you experience a night dining here. It was one of the highlights of our stay. Overall our stay was exceptional. The pool and beach areas did get a bit crowded and it was often hard to find a seat but we were happy to just stay in our villa with our private pool since it was so beautiful. We would definitely stay at this property again and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Thailand.
