An older Thai style hotel with wooden furniture in the Reception area and rooms. Staff were very friendly and efficient which is rare in Thailand. The swimming pool is unheated and it took me a while to get in it. My room had a desk with only 2 power sockets but good enough for the laptop and phone to charge. However the WiFi was unreliable and kept dropping out, even when it worked it was so slow.

- Day of arrival, the room was completely nasty and it looks like they did not clean it (they did), needed to ask to reclean the room. - The bathroom had a nasty smell which did not get fixed even after trying. - Freshly cleaned towels got traces of poop. - When you walk out your room, you enter the central hall, which is a completely in the open air principle. So at night, the central hall is full of mosquitos which enters the room when opening the door. - Every rooms bathroom has a ventilator which directly runs to the central hall. So if someone had a good toilet time you will smell it all over the central hall. - Last day we spotted 2 cockroaches in our room. Nasty hotel and I would not come back.

The rooms are ok just that they are too hot & humid than I thought. I would recommend to get a AC room in case you are going there. I find fan is ok for me at other hotels but the place is more hot & humid than I thought. They don't have 24 *7 front desk hence for guest emergency they should keep one emergency number. I was in one such emergency at night when I forgot my key inside & locked the door.. At 12 midnight no one to help.. .

Beautiful, clean, safe and comfortable hotel in the old Town. Rooms are spacious and clean, bed is good, AC, warm water and fridge work. Our room's window had not a nice sight but we didn't really cared as we were mostly outdoors. There is a nice, clean swimming pool. Not very crowded, quiet and fresh. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they will book trips, taxis etc and will tell you if the prices are too high. I guess you can find something cheaper nearby but I don't know if it's as good.
