A small budget guesthouse with a swimming pool. Value for money. Rooms are clean and properly maintained. But there is no mini-bar or fridge or mini-safe or hair-dryer or electric kettle or coffee making utensils in the room. Not easy to find though as it is tucked inside a small lane. But it is within walking distance from a lot of markets, shops and eateries. Hot coffee and tea are available free near the front desk. The staff will help you book transportation to the airport. WiFi is free but slow and unstable.

The people working here are super nice, but that is all it really has going for it other than the location. Very dated and it all smells faintly of sewage, also they only take cash and their atm has the most ridiculous fees of anywhere we experienced. Wouldn't stay here again.

It is unpleasant to stay at the hotel because of the general uncleanliness: - The rooms may contain cockroaches (amongst other insects). We also spotted a cockroach when we checked in in the lobby. - There is an awful smell coming from the bathrooms (plumbing issues). After asking for a different room we switched to a room with the same bad smell. Nearly every room has this bad smell. - The towels given to guests are dirty and have stains on them (probably due to washing at low temperatures). - Mold in some places in the hotel and rooms. Positive points of note: - Friendly staff. - Pool is nice and clean. All in all, we will not come back here again.

Budget hotel, poorly maintained. Was quite disappointed with our 2 night stay at S.K. House. The place offers very basic facilities and is priced very reasonably, but just wasn’t worth it. The ordinary room just by the stair way was really noisy the first night. To make it worse, the hot water wasn’t working in our room. We upgraded to an AC room the second night by paying an additional fee. While the noise issue was resolved, we found roaches in the bathroom. Don’t think we will come back here again.
