Room is to a very high standard. Some ambient noise but otherwise very comfortable. Decor is good, and the shower and bathroom excellent. Although this was provided free by Ethiopian Airlines, it's a good option if you have a particularly long layover and are crossing multiple timezones. No windows so no natural light sadly but when you need a properly dark room to get some sleep it's perfect.

The rooms are okay, but no Wi-Fi and no air conditioning made it HORRIBLE. Couldn’t sleep for even a minute. These are windowless rooms in the terminal, so they get hot. I told the staff that the AC wasn’t working, and they said they’d send someone. One hour later, nobody came. So I went to reception and they informed that, in fact, the AC just doesn’t work in any rooms. They said, “why do you care? The room is 27 degrees Celsius, that should be cool enough.” Which is… just absolutely ridiculous. The rooms are significantly more expensive than what they advertise on the website, so be prepared to pay an arm and a leg. They very much rely on the location inside the terminal (which is amazing if you have an overnight layover) and know that people will book it even if the service and rooms are terrible. The staff are rude and could not care less about the guests or their jobs. Will not stay here again - I’ve been to Addis a number of times and you can simply get a transit visa and book a hotel just outside the airport for a fraction of the cost. It’ll be slightly less convenient, but WAY more comfortable.

I used the In Terminal hotel for a short layover. I did the 3-hour stay. The hotel rooms were clean and nice. I enjoyed the experience. The pros -- the room is spacious. The bathroom was good and there were good amenities. I thought the price was alright. A bit expensive but not as outrageous as competition in other airports. The room came with two twin beds, shower, closet, kettle (complimentary teas and coffee) and hygienic products. There is a restaurant on site. For the 3 hour stay, you have to pay an extra 25 dollars.for the buffet. However, the hotel is still connected to the other stores and restaurants of the international terminal. So you can explore other options. Because my travel days through Addis tend to be long, I definitely am putting this on my list of things that makes the trip more enjoyable. Cons- Addis Bole International Airport is under renovation. It means that the hotel isn't as accessible as it could be. The upstairs escalators weren't working and the hallway toward the hotel could be beautified. I would say the only other comment is that the hotel should spell check some of the documents. I think the little sheet given with the room key had a mistake for reception -- it said recaption. I would also recommend that the hotel, like the rest of the airport ensures that all text is in English and Amharic.
