Everything was almost perfect. The bathroom trash bin and kitchenette should have been much more clean, as they smelt bad, and the kitchenette was barely cleaned before us. Easy check in, creating your room key. Will return if given the chance.

Check-in was fast and easy, location is good right next to the main station. The room was clean. I never slept so bad in a hotel, even if it has only 25°C outside it's getting extremely hot in the room, but it is so noisy outside that it is not possible to sleep with the window open. Better come prepared as you would for a cheap hostel (ear plugs), or just stay somewhere else if you can. The pillows are so thin that it does not make any difference if you sleep with or without them. Everything hurts after one night here. There two choices of temperature in the shower, insane hot or ice cold, not possible to get anything in between. As this is marked as "business" you would expect some small desk to work on, but there is only a small desk for eating that is barely usable to work. But as it has >30°C in the room it's not possible to work anyway. Also don't expect much from the wifi, you won't get more than like 16MBit/s, disappointing for a rather new building. Also the confirmation email contains a box where the wifi login should be, but it was empty, luckily I found the login in the room on a box with cleaning tools. You have to buy coffee pads at the hotel for a high price as there is only a proprietary Nespresso Pro machine and supermarkets won't sell them, choice of coffee very limited that way. In winter it is probably ok, but spring to autumn I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Im a current guest at Smartments, I have been here once before and i honestly cant stress enough how much i am pleased with this hotel. the room is worth the money if not more, alot of facilities are available and the station is so close. the staff are extremely kind and hospitable every preferences i requested has been met immediately the same day. the receptionist especially from Romania I do not recall his name is also extremely kind and understanding. if I will visit Vienna again ill be sure to stay here as it is safe and I can reach all destinations because of how close it is to the Vienna main station. the hotel is also quiet and I have not been disturbed during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

So clean it smelled of disinfection/chlorine/bleach. Very functional, basic rooms. Kitchenette, microwave, dish washer, coffee machine, TV. Would work for a prison, works for a long stay. Not a room to spent much time in, as it lacks a good seating option. Compared to alternatives such as Zoku, significantly cheaper but that reflects in the quality of stay as well. Good: Cheap apartment for longer stays Neutral: Conveniently located near the station. Cleaned once during my 8 days stay. Front desk has short day time operation hours only. Self check in not perfect. Less great: The bed has a wooden frame and a soft mattress. Didn’t like the pillow - that’s probably a personal preference. There is a blue indicator light for the sink light that I haven’t been able to turn off. Self check in via website didn’t accept a .group domain for an email - work in the check in desk.
