We were very happy with the level of service provided by the team in Kata Poshtel. Chui was so helpful throughout our stay as well as Tiw. Definitely staying here if we come back!

Best hostel I've ever stayed at in terms of comfort and cleanliness. I wish I could give them six stars. No breakfast but the prices are so low you can't expect it. Coffee & tea are available around the clock. The staff are all very friendly. I recommend the double bed pod in Room 1. Great stay!

Shiny and new hostel! Very comfortable and private dorm beds with duvet, socket, spotlight and small locker with mirror above your pillow. Modern and clean bathrooms. Short walk to main kata beach or 15-20mins (partly uphill) to a quieter beach. Very friendly and helpful owner. I would definitely stay again!

Tried to change my booking from 6 days to 2-3 days upon check-in because the waves were very low at Kata Beach compared to say Kamala or Bang Tao. They said absolutely not and that I had to pay the full 6 days no matter what even though that goes against their own cancellation policy listed on Hostelworld. (The cancellation policy says I'd only be charged for the first night if cancelled within 72 hours of the date of check-in, which to me seems like it should also be fine to modify a booking 48-72 hours out.) So I cancelled my entire booking, we'll see if they still try to charge me. May have to do a charge back.
