I would not rate so harshly but this was marketed as a 5 star hotel, and should only rate as a 2 or 3 given what it offers - namely large rooms & location close to public sites. Rooms face a public plaza which had a concert until 2am, so could not sleep. Room is massive, though lacking in basic amenities - only one cup in the kitchen and none in the bathroom. No soap in the kitchen, no minibar with bottled water, etc. Internet cut out repeatedly.

If you like hotels that are old, falling apart and overall cringy then this is the place for you. The furniture is old, gaudy huge and an awful Brown color. Not to mention uncomfortable. The internet in the rooms do NOT work. The charging pots in the rooms have No Current. The disinfectant is cheap, trust me you can smell it. I would not recommend having the breakfast because most of it is cold and the restaurant needs a complete make over. Toilets floods. I spent one night there then left. The reception area is old. People beg you as soon as you leave the taxi. The hotel and surrounding areas serve as a urinal for men. Please do not go no matter what deal they offer it’s not worth it. The place should be shut down

I've stayed before in this hotel, actually every single time when in Bogotá. Free breakfast included. Also I always choose the rooms with view to the mountain, you can see Monserrate and also Colpatria tower. My views have always been amazing. Room service is super efficient and if you need to do laundry, they have accesible prices sort by type of clothes, which is great, plus they delivered it the next day, ironed and folded, or in your closet. Location depends your desired places to visit in Bogotá, which is a huge city. However, there are many transportation apps and services around that you can choose at your desire. If you're in a low budget, don't worry, there's an OXXO, Mr Buñuelo, Chicharrones & Cruz Verde just a few meters away, and depending on what you book, there's a kitchenette with a full refrigerator to pack.

Great views of Monserrate and Guatalupe. Our room was spacious, comprised of a large entertaining area seperate to the main room. Staff were helpful and couldn’t have asked for a better place. Didn’t end up using the spa on level 4, and enjoyed the provided breakfast one of the days, it was quite busy so definitely recommend getting in early. About 25 minute walk to plaza de bolivar, definitely recommend you don’t use a phone or anything valuable while walking around. Lots of pickpockets and junkies around these areas so be careful.

My Wife and I love the hotel. Beautiful and large room with a view of the mountain. Full security outside all the time and all the convenient shops you will need are all right with you as you exit the hotel. Security, police, and military all posted all over so you are very safe. Stayed for two months and will absolutely stay again. Pet friendly! This is Colombia 🇨🇴 you shouldn't blame a hotel for what a random person attempts to ask you outside the facility. Other hotels don't have full security walking around outside for you to hail over if you feel uncomfortable.
