Guest wifi is not there. Well, it is but good luck doing anything with one singular bar of wifi that goes in and out. The bathroom is bad and by bad I mean there's A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF MOLD. Some of it looks very problematic and entirely avoidable. The ventilator grate in the bathroom is covered in mold and COULD be cleaned for BASIC HEALTH AND SAFETY. There's spores of mold everywhere else all around the bathroom too. Even at first glance, it looks very sketchy and slightly gross in there. The towels are the dumbest most useless towels I've ever experienced at any hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. Also, I'm incredibly dubious of any hotel that chooses to have very dark blue and black linens. There is a lack of adequate drainage for the shower, which probably contributes to the HIGHLY PROBLEMATIC MOLD ISSUE, likely exacerbated by the fact the only vent is also covered in mold so can't actually operate in any way other than to continue accumulating mold. Service is a very pleasant, if completely disinterested guy who takes naps behind the desk. Acceptable for a night, if you book very early and get the room at a discount during a high price week. I paid around 540tbh for one night just after Songkran for a twin room. For that reason, I'm okay with it. I've paid the same for far superior accommodation in the same area in Chiang Mai on a regular peak season week at short notice though.

The room and furniture were quite aged. There were issues with drainage. Fridge, TV, and AC work well. Hot water doesn't stay on, I needed to keep on turning on and off the water to get a little hot water. Noise cancelation issues between rooms. Good value only if you book way in advance

The staff here is incredibly helpful and kind. We were struggling to find a car, and they called multiple cab and bus companies to help us find a ride to Pa Pae. They really went above and beyond to assist us, in an ordeal that took over an hour. The room we stayed in was also very nice - clean with excellent air conditioning, and a very comfortable bed. The location is also great - it's a very short walk to many shops and restaurants. The internet dropped out a few times, but we had no other issues, and the unbelievable staff more than made up for that.

Our stay was comfortable and the room was clean. The lady in the front desk was super friendly and kind, and this 5-star review is for a huge shoutout to her! She helped answer all of our questions about Chiang Mai, and when we were leaving, she helped us secure a cab to a remote jungle location that no other taxi drivers wanted to take us to. It took us a few hours to find a taxi, and the front-desk lady was kind enough to contact and speak to multiple cab drivers and transportation services on our behalf. Thank you so much! We really appreciated your generosity!
