Such a lovely hotel only a short walk from the city centre. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help. The complimentary sweet larder and free cans of drink in the fridge were a nice touch. We ate in the restaurant our first night and the food was great. The service was a little slow but it made for a nice meal as we didn't have any other plans and weren't rushed at all. It was a very leisurely and enjoyable meal. Our room did have a slight mildew smell coming from the bathroom but apart from that it was a lovely room with a HUGE bed! Overall I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Great location, staff, food and surprise little extras. Put the bird top of your list if you're contemplating visiting Bath.

Booked here for a short weekend getaway to meet up with friends . Great location a few minutes walk from the town( there is a car park, charge does apply)Rooms were well presented, very clean and a good size ( we booked cozy doubles) with all you could need including an iron, ironing board and Dyson hairdryer to name a few. Friendly and accommodating staff and we were extremely well looked after. Although we only had breakfast in the restaurant the food was really good with quality ingredients and every requirement was catered for. Everyone said that the beds were extremely comfortable and everyone had an an excellent night’s sleep. Hotel was decorated tastefully with some quirky touches and the free sweets went down a storm.We all had a great time in Bath and the stay in The Bird added to the experience. Definitely be returning.

I really loved our stay at the Bird. We stayed in the dinky double, which lives up to it's name as one of the smallest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in, but it was fantastic. The room was very clean and comfortable to stay in. In particular, I love the level of thought and detail that has gone into this hotel. Especially the complimentary larder, what a lovely surprise. Every member of staff we had encountered was extremely polite and I never felt anything was too much trouble. Thank you to everyone at the Bird for making our stay so wonderful 😊

Great service! Honeymoon with our 4 year old Weimaraner with us - He was treated like a movie star and all the staff made a fuss of him! He got his own blanket and Woof box containing food and ball, etc. The room was one on the bottom floor, so was easy to take Oscar outside when he needed to go to the toilet. Complimentary soft drinks and snacks, which is a great touch. We only used the on-site restaurant for a drink in the evening and breakfast once, the sausages on our breakfast were delicious! The dining room looked very spacious and clean. Very close to the centre of Bath, 10 minute walk. Very accommodating to Oscar’s diet and allowing us to store his food in one of their fridges. Would 100% recommend and we’ll be using again in the future. Kyle, Diane & Oscar
