Stayed for three nights in Jan 2024. The location is ideal, walking distance to most activities in the old city. The hotel itself is very affordable, spacious and modern but I had issues with the trail of ants and a cockroach sighting. The rooms are very clean, but having insects throughout your room made my stay very uncomfortable.

Huge, spotlessly clean rooms with very comfy beds and a nice pool. Great location for first-timers in Chiang Mai. Not eco-friendly: plastic everywhere and drinking water comes through tiny single-use bottles, and the only bed coverings are thick duvets that encourage aircon waste. Staff are friendly and proactive.

I highly recommend this hotel, very clean, modern and the staff is very available. Centrally located in old city area and easy to reach from the train station. We liked it so much that we wanted to extend our stay but it was fully booked by then!

I had a wonderful stay at The Chimes hotel. The hotel looked very new and modern. The pool was well maintained. My room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Front desk and housekeeping staff were all very nice and provided good service. Location was also great and walking distance to many tourist attractions. My only criticism is hand soap was not provided in the room. I would definitely stay here again. Great value and would highly recommend.

This was one of 5 places that I stayed at during my two weeks in Thailand, and I can honestly say that it was my favourite! It’s the only hotel that I would return to for a second stay should the opportunity present itself. The room was spacious and super clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was large, and the pool was a nice relief after sightseeing in the heat. The only thing worth noting is if you’d like to be ON a street that has lots of restaurants/bars, this isn’t a good option for you as you have to walk about 5 mins to get to more of an upbeat part of town.
