This is one of my favourite hotel in APAC region where I travel for work often. Service is great, everyone friendly and professional. Elevators function like speed light! I never wait more than 15 seconds to get upstairs to the gym or downstairs to lobby. Cleanliness, excellent breakfast, spacious rooms, very large gym, very well trained staff, for me is highly recommended. Perhaps location isn’t very central to main shopping area but it depends on what you visit Taipei for.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the Landis Hotel was. Having stayed in the Zhongshan area of Taipei many times at other hotels and knowing where The Landis was, it ended up being a good location with plenty of food options nearby and easy access to the rest of the city. The Superior Double was a nice room of good size and a comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. I used the gym each morning and it was more than adequate. The only negative I have is as a coffee drinker, only instant coffee was provided in the room. That was disappointing for a 5 star hotel. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay there and won't hesitate to book again when I am in Taipei next.

Service was great here. The lobby attendants and doorman are very memorable during my stay. They were fast, efficient, and nice. The rooms were clean and the cleaning service are really attentive and detail oriented. Would highly recommend staying here.

Above average hotel with friendly service butbthe location is not good. No decent restaurants or coffeehouse around. I received a semi sarcastic reply from the hotel which i do not appreciate. I seems that they had a problem understanding my review, so I will attempt to explain it for them.... I said no decent restaurants or coffee shops AROUND THE HOTEL.... NOT IN THE HOTEL. Instead of mentioning few decent Italian, Lebanese, Turkish, Greek restaurants and coffee shops like Costa, Starbucks coffe they mentioned the hotel restaurants. I don't like your reply.
