The One Barcelona is by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Upon arrival I was greeted with warmth and kindness. My luggage was immediately taken to my room while I did the check in process. The staff at the check-in were extremely helpful and kind and went out of their way to make sure my room was going to be ready quickly as I arrived from an overnight flight. The Bellman ran down the street to get me a taxi. Which was very impressive. The rooftop restaurant/bar was gorgeous, and the food and drinks were amazing As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe in the area I was in the hotel was very secure, and the ambience was exquisite. My room was gorgeous and because of the slight delay, I was met in my room with a nice bottle of French champagne to enjoy on my balcony in the evening. I am planning on returning to Barcelona next year in 2024 and plan to stay at the One Barcelona hotel again! I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. I am very big on service and their service at this hotel is superb.

Stunning hotel in a terrific location. Elegant rooms with beautiful gold and marble finishes. Upscale restaurants, a luxe spa, and a large rooftop terrace with pool make this hotel one of the top stays in Barcelona. The staff are next level and ensure everything is taken care of during your stay. Ivette, in particular, is very professional and knowledgeable. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel!

The hotel is clean, fresh and beautiful. It’s 5 stars without question. This boutique hotel provides perfect first class service for tourists or anyone passing through. The concierge is incredibly well staffed and eager to assist guests. The concierge at The One should be an example for any other hotel. One of the concierge staff members, Denis, had helpful information for us to get tickets into one of the local sites despite it being sold out. The location is perfectly placed away from the bustling overcrowded streets, like Las Ramblas, and is safe day and night. We felt very comfortable wandering on foot from the hotel to anywhere walking distance and back. Our trip of 5 people with 4 adults and a five year old lead me to book two corner suites. Both were on the same floor, spacious and just delightful. We arrived around 9:00 a.m., one of the suites was ready and we were able to check in without delay or additional fees. The rooms were clean and very well serviced multiple times a day. Upon entering the suite, the floor plan has you first in the bathroom which isn’t typical but was no problem and we quickly got used to it. Child sized slippers and a child sized robe were provided which worked perfectly for us when we visited the spa and its splash pool. The pool had optional waterfalls that kept our 5 year busy and we enjoyed as well. Our visit was four nights and we would have loved to enjoy the property and location for much longer. Our trip to spain included other highlights, check out my reviews if you’re into premium travel with value.

A disappointing experience at this hotel. I didn’t receive housekeeping during the day, despite the sign on the door for quite a while. Even after directly requesting at the front desk, it was not done. It seems like the hotel is severely understaffed, leading to such issues. Another inconvenience was a hole in the ceiling in the toilet. I understand that maintenance work might be underway, if you're accommodating guests, at least restore the ceiling. Overall, the stay was unfortunate. I would not recommend it.
