Staff was cordial enough face to face but then did not follow up on anything we discussed. Room was not cleaned when they told us it would be. And when they did, they made the bed and replaced some towels, but not all of them. Did not replace coffee, toilet paper or empty all the trash. When I asked the staff for more towels, coffee, toilet paper and to remove some left over food none of it ever happened. Most of the staff was nice enough except for Zach. I do not know what his problem is but that guy needs to learn some customer service skills. And when I walked away from him, he waved his hand at me like "get out of here." During our five night stay we had Anna serve us at the bar a couple different times. She was the only bright spot regarding the staff. She got us our drinks in a timely manner, chimed in when appropriate and did a really nice job. And this review is tough because most everyone was pleasant enough while I spoke with them, but the follow-up was brutal or non-existent. Nothing was horrible (except for Zach) but most everything was very underwhelming. The rooms were nice enough. The location is great. The pool was nice. The food was good. We went to breakfast four times (we had a daily resort credit that we needed to use daily. The view was nice and my wife and I enjoy having breakfast together). On the 4th visit everything came the way we ordered it. The first three visits the order was wrong.... sometimes for just one of us, sometimes for both of us. All four visits we ran out of water and never were offered more. One visit we ran out of coffee and were not offered more. Every visit we were done eating, napkins on plates, for at least ten minutes before we were asked if we wanted the check. Then it ranged from pretty quickly to another five minutes before we actually got the check. Not sure if I would recommend this place. If they can straighten the staff out I would go back. The staff is the problem. If you go in not expecting much out of them the location and amenities are really good stuff.

We had a great stay here for the week. It was nice to have the little bit of beach to chill on in the morning then head out on the town before lunch. The food and drinks are a little more expensive than other restaurants and bars, but to be expected. The front desk were very nice and accommodating, quickly addressed anything we needed and even looked up my rewards account so I could get the points.

From the concierge to the housekeepers, the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed here multiple times and got a double queen bed room each time. The rooms are pretty standard and what you would expect for a resort of this size. On this trip, there was an issue with the hot water and I was forced to take cold showers on two separate days. To me, this is not an issue you’d expect when staying somewhere at this price point. The door to my bathroom also had visible water damage from a previous incident. The gift shop has convenient breakfast options that are fresh and brought in daily, although none are overly luxurious. Overall, I’ve always had a pleasant and enjoyable stay here.

My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at The Reach. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was upgraded and had a beautiful ocean view. Once we got checked in, we realized we wanted to extend our stay and we did not regret that. The rooms can be quite expensive, but the location and people are fantastic. One member of the staff I want to give recognition to was Ricky. Ricky is a bellhop at the resort and was very friendly. Once he found out I was planning to propose to my partner, he made suggestions, offered to get reservations and coordinated a wonderful congratulations surprise when we got back (She said yes!). Overall, our stay was wonderful and we will be back in the future!

Well, our stay isn't over BUT, so far it's been great. Our room is adequate and 'supposedly' we got an upgrade but it's quiet, convenient and clean...though we haven't figured out housekeeping yet. They came yesterday while we were napping then never came back (it's 30 hours later). No biggie, we'll just ask for towels. The pool staff, restaurant and bar personnel are all super friendly and we've had zero service issues. It's an easy mile from Mallory Square and most of Duval 'fun' is closer. All very walkable. To date the stay has been very enjoyable.
