Well I liked the hotel, everything is good here: large clean and cozy room with a small kitchen inside and balcony outside. A hot bath tube is super important after a day in mountains, nice breakfast and comfortable lobby and common space. Very creative interior inspired by infrastructure in the mountains. It’s located near the slope, for me fully fine. Didn’t try their pool. Of course prices isn’t moderate. Recommend

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment you walk into The Rex, you are greeted with the friendliest staff and coziest atmosphere. The room was cleaned to perfection. After every refresh, the room smelled so fresh. Breakfast was delicious. The spa was extremely peaceful. We had dinner on the lawn and their burgers were phenomenal.

Loved every detail of it. Only thing I can say is that I didn't stay enough. ❤️ Run by amazing team of young professionals. The energy, love and care they provide from breakfast to room and our endless enquiries. Location 5/5 - Easy walk to old town, stores around and the connecting trains/cable car services Staff and facilities 5/5 - Friendly and very informative - left no details in supporting us from both touring around and facilitating our breakfast, night drinks, room services, bakery (one of the best bakery within a premise of a hotel I would say) Rooms and amenities 5/5 - cozy, beautiful view and clean amenities

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the rex. We booked a junior suite room with a view of the matterhorn and it was quite spacious and very comfortable: the room was beautiful and quiet, bedding was comfortable, and there was even a small kitchenette! However, it was really the amenities that made this stay outstanding. The included breakfast was incredible: lots of different types of homemade breads, granola, local honey, made to order coffee bar. And we spent lots of time in the wellness/spa at the hotel that is included in your stay (2 types of sauna, jacuzzi, aromatherapy shower, steam room, pool). We also really enjoyed spending some time in their garden: they have an excellent wine selection and an incredible view of the matterhorn and surrounding mountains (including a waterfall!) Overall a really splendid stay!
