Our favorite hotel experience on our Japan trip. Stayed three nights with our 7-year-old and it was fabulous. Our room was very small but extremely well-designed. Impeccably clean, modern, thoughtful design, luxury-feeling hotel compared to many more-expensive hotels we visited in Japan. Great service from staff. Many amenities. Loved the quiet upscale neighborhood as a break from the excitement of touring the busier market areas during the day. Bonus was the amazing view of over Osaka.

Very expensive for what you get. The room was very small. There is no onsen. Breakfast time is not clearly disclosed: the sign indicates 6-10, then after they tell us it was already closed at 9.50 I noticed the 9:30 between bracket which i suppose it’s the time of the last order (i suppose because at check-in no one told us about breakfast Hours and besides numbers everything was in Japanese in the sign in front of the restaurant). The breakfast that we had the second day (we tried both the western and the japanese) was pretty bland by the way. It is also difficult to find the entrance of the hotel from the street and there was a very annoying light in the room which we could not switch off the first night because the switch was hidden behind an electric teapot (we had to remove the room card from the general switch in order to sleep). Positive note for the free coffee machine in the reception hall. However I think you can find much better places, expecially for this price. I would not recomend it.

The location is fantastic, the staff were excellent. There was even a robot butler that bowed to me a couple times. Just outside the hotel their are numerous places to eat, as well as a family mart konbini. Highly reccomend

Just about to wrap up a 3 night stay at The Rise Osaka Kitashinchi and I can say I'm satisfied with the overall room, service and location. The room and bathroom is small but that's fairly typical. Two people fit comfortably on the double bed provided (we both measure 169cm and 161 cm) and I personally didn't mind facing the wall. The sofa is a nice touch, providing additional space just to chill. Bathroom did have a slight damp smell but it's not a deal-breaker if you use the room just to rest after a long day. On the night of check in, the front desk did well to welcome us and were approachable and friendly. The front desk provided me with an additional charging cable when I realised my adaptor couldn't be used in the room. The hotel is a short and fairly direct 5 minute walk to Yodobashi Station. To be honest, the station is smaller than Osaka Station for sure, but much easier to get to - and more than serves as an adequate hub to connect you to the rest of metro Osaka. I wager your most frequented route will be the Midosuji line, which takes you to locations such as Namba, Shinsaibashi and Tennoji - as well as Osaka Station.
