Five days at the Ritz and I have to say it’s been a really stellar experience with multiple “above and beyond” service experiences. The bar and the restaurant are great. The only drawback I experienced was not having a practical workspace in my room - perhaps I could have picked a different room, not sure. Great views by the way. And the security is superb.

I'm not one who likes big chains even if it's a Ritz but we got a great rate here so stayed over Christmas. It's like living in a high rise condo so if that's your vibe you will love it here. Everything is new and sleek and not much character (though the Roederer decorations were lovely). It has a restaurant and bar and lounge. The bar was underwhelming but the lounge area and restaurant looked nice and overlooked the park. Food was good and service was 5 stars in the restaurant. We got upgraded to a park view w/balcony and the room might have been the best part. Amazing views and cool spacious balcony - room was all automatic, which I like, great bathtub. Comfy bed. Gym was very large with more views and high end equipment. Pool is not really that - i don't know if it's large enough for laps and its indoors so you can't lay out or anything. Location - so so. Not in a very interesting part of town but it is accessible to a lot if you walk 15-30 minutes. Overall - it's fine but didn't offer anything unique or reflective of CDMX. I don't think I'd recommend it if we were paying rack rates. But, folks mostly stay here because of Marriott loyalty and that's why I got upgraded so I get it!

Honestly had the most amazing stay at the Ritz Carlton CDMX! Everything was 5 stars including the service from Julia at the front desk and the lady at the concierge. We rented e-bikes from the concierge and everything was super easy and seamless. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay unbelievable! They upgraded our room to a corner room with spectacular panoramic views for our special celebration (including a view of the Castle Chapultepec). They also gave us a very cute chocolate heart, lion stuffed animal, and hand written note. The spa was also phenomenal - my only critique would for be the swimming pool/jacuzzi to be hotter. If you are thinking of booking a hotel in CDMX, the Ritz Carlton is the one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time! The level of service was exceptional. We loved every minute of our stay and didn’t want to leave. Thank you 🙏
