We were there for Tea with Santa. Our daughter had a great experience. The Santa makes time with every table and the staff is very attentive. Our daughter even ate the sandwiches they provided which were outside her norm. Every kid gets a photo with Santa and an elf even comes around making balloon hats. It’s a great experience for children.

Review for Astor Court Restaurant - High Tea: Definitely not worth the price tag. We discovered so many wonderful tea houses in London and Wales, with scones and sandwiches overflowing with clotted cream and jam - we were hoping to experience something at least comparable here. The St. Regis interior design is absolutely pristine, but that's mostly what you're paying for - to sit in the St. Regis - as the service and food were remarkably average. The scone was pretty good. The pastrami-smoked salmon croissant was on point, but overall, the sandwiches on the three-tier tray were overly-bready with maybe a teaspoon of egg and chicken salad. We boxed most of the desserts and went home to make fruit and eggs to consume more variety. Chocolate cake was delicious when I warmed it up later. The server was friendly with a lot of personality, but pretty casual. I asked for a hot water refill and he said "she should be coming around with hot water," referring to a server assistant. It's not that I had to ask at all, but shifting responsibility is an interesting response. He did end up coming back with hot water, but spilled it on my partner's arm. Mistakes happen but stating the tea hot pots were new and he didn't know how to work them yet (jokingly) was a really strange response. We've wanted to check out high tea in Atlanta for years. With so few options, now we can say we did; but can't say I'd do it here again.

We just stopped in for late drinks and desserts. Restaurant and bar area were very friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere and service level were outstanding. We each had a signature cocktail and shared a couple of desserts.

So first of all, i didn’t want to have to write this but after 3 weeks of waiting for a reply from upper management, i decided to write to let other guests know some of the realities of this specific establishment, this review however is not representative of Atlas and it’s subsidiaries. I was wrongfully discriminated while visiting a friend in this establishment and was escorted off the property by Atlanta Police Department after a staff member by the name of Ashley, decided that the way I was dressed was not up to her standards as I am a fashion designer and my outfits are sometimes exciting and eccentric and Different. While in the establishment, I was wrongly accused of not being a guest when I have been a patron of the St.Regis for years actually, and after flying in from a vacation, this was the worst feeling as I had never even interacted with this person before, especially coming from another Black woman, this was upsetting.
