In my opinion 5 stars for Location, service and accommodation. The complimentary breakfast was unlike any sort of breakfast I’ve ever had in the states, it was huge and quite a spread ! The rooms were tight and small but when in Oslo you shouldn’t be spending much time in the room anyway! Staff was kind and helpful and it was in the centrum of everything ! Short walking distance to the royal palace, sculpture garden, the water and the fortress ! Ala, justine and Victoria were all very helpful also!

My stay was for 8 nights. First 7 nights in a room with a small living room. Amenities - robes and slippers. Bed was too soft. Great space highly recommended for a long stay. The last night I needed to stay in a single room preferably next to the one I was checking out of. Room was fine. Exception of no shampoo, cream rinse or body lotion, as well as the duvet and the pillows were terrible. Mattress was actually better. I don’t believe that these small differences should mark the change in rooms. Quality should be the same for all rooms. Exception of price and size. I I’ve stayed there quite a few times as the location is perfect for me. Staff at the reception are always new and in training. They always seem to have to ask the superior to be able to answer questions. I also think they should address you by your sur name not your first. Breakfast is good. You are not able to pay with American Express at the hotel even though on the site it is possible. The front desk always has to send you a link to pay.

Excellent breakfast! If you book at Thon Hotel I reccomend you to include breakfast in your booking. The hotel is in the city centre, very close to the main sightseeings of Oslo. Welcoming receiption area with welltrained staff. Quite good and clean rooms.

This hotel is quite nice. I stayed here on a research visit at UiO and I stayed for one whole month. The first thing I will say is that the breakfast is MAGNIFICENT and easily the best hotel breakfast I have ever seen by far. The smoked makerel is the best thing, but if you aren't sold by the mountain of bacon at least, idk what to tell you. The staff are so kind and friendly. In particular there is one woman who every day met me for breakfast with a smile. She takes the room numbers. I want to say maybe middle aged with red hair. She's so sweet and kind and the best part of my day. The day I left she said she was sad because she looked forward to my smiling face 🥺 just the most lovely woman. The rooms have a BEAUTIFUL bed. The bathroom is a bit weird and could do with actual shampoo/conditioner/soap and the dispenser kept falling apart. The fridge is great and this isn't common in Europe but appreciated. The lounge is great and you can get infinite apples and fizzy water! There are no washing machine facilities but that's normal I guess. Wifi and internet connection is super super good. You can borrow umbrellas which are already in the room. The housekeeping are quite enthusiastic :D and once entered my room when I was there but I don't hold it against them. The bathroom vent will share all information of the neighbour. A man spent a week singing opera. But that can't be helped. Location is great with one stop on the train from UiO and a tram to the centre. Shops and stuff everywhere around. Loved this place, would go again.

The great hotel located in Oslo shopping street, nice interior, clean. Excellent brasserie is near to hotel. Hotel have comfortable rest room/living room. Personal are professional and very friendly. Room is big, warm, clean, big comfortable bed, flat screen tv, refrigerator, iron, hair dryer, caffe aparat with instant coffee and tea. Guest in room can borrow umbrella. For breakfast serve quality and lot of food for different taste in big restaurant. I recommended this hotel and for sure I will be guest in my next visit Oslo.
