The hotel is noticeably older than other Tokyu Stays, but was actually a little more expensive. I'd been hoping for a high-backed chair as shown in the pictures since I was working remotely but those pictures were apparently outdated. The room with a washer/dryer, kitchen sink & hot plate is great for a longer stay though, and even had plates/silverware and pot to cook in. It's right next to Tsukiji outer market so you have fantastic food and little local stores to check out, but the subway lines aren't as convenient as closer to the city center.

The room is pretty average for a hotel in Tokyo but it had some nice features such as a washer/dryer in the room. The location was pretty unique, being in the middle of the Tsukiji fish market! I loved being able to step out of the hotel and being steps away from multiple seafood street food vendors! The fish market can be pretty busy in the mornings so be aware of that. Another unique feature is the breakfast option (should you choose to include that). Instead of an average, lukewarm continental breakfast like many hotels offer, you were given a 800Y voucher to use at your choice of 8 different restaurants around the fish market. Some of the portions were a little small but it was quality over quantity with fresh cooked dishes such as a tuna sashimi bowl, egg stew, or thick pancakes.

We stayed here in November 2018 in a residential double size room. It was our first time to Tokyo. The hotel is easy to find, looks modern and clean. It felt safe - you need to use your hotel card to access after hours. There was English speaking staff available. One of the good things about the Tokyu stay brand, is that they are always located close to transit stations. The hotel is near Tsukiji market, with lots of food options. It's easy to get to nearby areas in Tokyo from Tsukiji. Another good thing with Tokyu stay brand hotels are the room amenities. There is free wifi, fridge, microwave, coffee/tea maker, washer/dryer machine, and AC. It was nice to have an in room washer/dryer to do our laundry for long-stay trip. The fridge and microwave was also nice so we can make easy meals in the room. The room was too small for my preference, but the size is average or above average for Tokyo standards. The ceiling in the bathroom was kind of low, which might be difficult for tall people. They have rooms that are bigger size than the residential double, so if we go back we might try a different room.

We stayed at this hotel for about 2 weeks during our stay in Japan, it was amazing. Very nice staff and clean rooms. We had a washer/dryer in room and it came with detergent. Microwave and kitchen utensils included. Desk area and a king sized bed, absolutely wonderful staying here. I actually really liked the fact that you need a room key to access the elevator area it was like an extra security step, we would recommend staying here for long stays. The location is great because there's the outer market near by and lots of places to eat and explore. Many subway lines are also available near by to it's easy to get around. At the end of our stay, the front desk checked us out and were kind enough to order us a taxi to take us directly to the airport. Love this hotel!

Great location, right at the fish market! Possible to walk to ginza too. Very clean, only the carpet is old, but they give you new slippers, so it's fine. Washer, including drying function in every room so you don't have to worry about laundry. Great view of the city and fish market out the window if you have a corner room like me. Plenty of amenities by the elevator, comfortable bed, thoughtfully made the mirror not frogged from the steam. I like that they respect your privacy by not bothering you coming into your room for cleaning unless you put a cleaning sign outside. I learned that if you just want amenities like new towels, you can put the cleaning sign outside along with "do not disturb" sign, and they will hang new towels outside by the door. The lobby desk worker is very nice, you get free coffee at the lobby, and nice cude clean ice too. Recommend.
