The Simple Travels

Guest services were fine and room was relatively up to date and clean. Struggled with getting air to right temperature. It was either too hot or too cold. Hard to get a happy medium when vents blow directly toward the bed. Hotel is pet friendly although fees are still exceptionally steep. Breakfast was hot and relatively fresh. Quick and easy access from I-95.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here in Savannah GA indeed. We arrived here for a special occasion for my beautiful sister . The staff was very respectful , professional at all times. The breakfast was great and the food area was kept clean at all times which is a plus. If you ever come to this beautiful city for a place to rest and relax , this is the residence. Thank you all again.

Book somewhere else! I called the property two weeks before my scheduled stay to verify the hotel shuttle hours (told it began at 4am and ended after the last flight) and that we could leave our car parked while we flew away for our trip (we had two reservations - one before the flight and another after returning). When we arrived for at midnight for our first stay, we were given keys to a room that was wide open and had a disheveled bed. The second room we were assigned had a door that didn’t lock. Third room worked! In the AM we could not get any hot water, so cold shower at 3:30am. We went to the desk at 4:15am to request the hotel shuttle only to be told it began at 5am! That would be too late for us to get to the airport and check in our luggage for a 6:02am flight!!! What happened in the week and a half since my verification call? And, on top of that, there was now a sign posted that they would not have a shuttle when we were scheduled to return!

Late review. I stayed here maybe 2 weeks ago on a rewards night. This hotel overall is not up to Marriott standards the cleanliness is below standard, the tv did not work and it was something else that made my stay unenjoyable but I can’t recall at the moment I have attached pics. The dust on top of the fridge, the silverware dirty and the cabinets dirty I remember now the heat did not work and I was cold at night! Never will I waste my rewards night on this location

This place has some SERIOUS maintenance issues. 🧰 I got off the plane just wanting to lay down. The first two rooms they put me in- the air conditioning didn’t work-even after some self evaluations to fix the system. The temp said it was 72F but felt like 85F. The third room was functional. I got up after snoozing for 1-2 hrs and tried turning on the TV. The screen lit up but nothing turned on. Again-I tried some things on the remote to fix but zip. Front desk just apologized but it was 8pm. The cable box on the back was held up by one screw instead of 4. The HDMI & VCA cords turned out to be put in wrong slots. Went to take a shower later to notice the shower lip was only one inch high and left a 6in gap between the shower curtain- meaning half the water running down the curtain will just spill onto the floor- which is exactly what it did. 🚿 😑 I used two towels to clean up. Went down to bring up my luggage to find out the closest door had a sign on it saying “Door Out Of Order, please use other door” meaning I had to drag my luggage twice the length of the building just to get it to my room. 🫤 This place was not worth $70 ….let along $180 a night. Good thing my company was paying for the place and not me 💯🫡
