I should state that the last time I stayed at this property, when I got my room, there was still food trash in the trash can. Maybe it was overlooked, or maybe it just wasn’t cleaned. After this recent visit, I have to say the latter. Recently- The first room I was assigned was NOT clean. There were a few holes in the carpet, hair on the bed, no fresh laundry bag in the closet, the smoke alarm was torn off the wall, and the worst of all, there was a pile of toenail clippings on the floor next to the bed. It was the single worse hotel experience of my life. When I called the front desk, the attendant was really nice and gave me another room. While that room was cleaner - the thermostat was broken and I had to fight with the temp all night. It either ran cold on full blast or hot on full blast. The bed was incredible uncomfortable and the pillows were not the typical Doible Tree pillows. They were small, square bricks. (We own the signature Double Tree pillows at home so I know the difference.) Also, the walls were so thin that I could hear snoring SO incredibly loudly in the room next door that I wasn’t able to sleep. Also in the morning, after I was able to nod off, the fire alarm went off several times. While checking out, the hotel attendant refunded my stay, which doesn’t really matter to me since I travel for business. I come to this area often but will never consider this property if the Embassy Suites is booked. I’ll go back to the Marriott Courtyard.

I was stuck at the Savannah airport and airline comped me a room at this establishment. By the time I got the hotel shuttle, I was stinky, crabby, and tired. The shuttle driver and front desk attendant were both so kind and amazing to me, and both went the extra mile. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. I have never been treated so kindly at any hotel in 50 years of my life! I wish I had gotten their names. Management, this was on 01/09/2024, around 9 p.m.-ish, if you would like to give those 2 a raise!! They have certainly earned you a repeat customer on the future, and I am so grateful to them for turning an otherwise horrible day around. Thank you so much ♥️

This hotel needs a lot of help. When i arrived @ 5pm, the front desk lady (not the Cust. service) said my room wasn’t ready. She said they were short staffed and thats the reason i had to wait. I said to her if i could get a different room she said i had to pay extra for a different room. I took a seat until hopefully she would call me. A half hour passes by and she doesn’t call me. So by this time another staff member arrived seemed like she knew more of how to handle the front desk. I explained to this second lady my situation and she spoke to the manager they finally gave me a room. My room stunk like dirty sucks. In other reviews i read cleanliness is definitely the issue other guests have come across. Another issue i read from other reviews is that noise from other adjacent rooms can be heard, not good a good quiet night sleep. Im not sure i will return to this hotel.

Stay away from this facility! All of the front desk staff are rude and incompetent. We came to vacation with family in Savannah for two days. Indoor pool was not heating, we complaint multiple times and no one bothered to do anything. Also, we specifically asked for room service and reminded the front desk in the morning, but no one came. I have lodged an official complaint about this facility with Hilton directly. Hope they fire the staff. As a gold honors member, I am deeply disappointed with this level of service at Doubletree.

The location was easy to get to and the area felt safe. The room was nice. I was only here overnight. Small dinner and breakfast menu. Nothing appealing at night, but I had a quick breakfast before leaving. The oatmeal was creamy and cooked perfectly. The pool looked nice and there was a nice outside seating area off the lounge. The one negative experience is the water pressure. Very low. Luckily they have showerheads you can dial with a smaller coverage, but a little more power.
