My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights, wonderful place to stay if you have your own transport, not so much if your taking the bus as it’s a little far from the last stop, but that stop has a Morrisons nearby so not too much of an issue, rooms were very clean when we arrived. Clean bathroom and plenty of towels with spares if needed. Only complaint was the bath was very shallow so I was hardly able to fit my whole body under water.

3 night stay wanted to be close but not in centre of city. Easy to navigate to. Arrived 40 minutes early after a 4 and a half drive not expecting to get straight in but no issue for the lady on reception who despite the sign advising check in opened at 3, allocated us a room on the ground floor. Room was warm and spacious and clean. Ideal base to explore the city. Free car park for residents of hotel. We left the car and opted for a 10 minute walk down the road to get one of the regular service 16 buses to Princes Street. £2 pp fair. The other member of staff we have spoken to, again was polite, friendly and helpful. Overall a great place to stay at a very reasonable price

Very nice employees, clean well-kept hotel. Coffee shop and petrol station right next to the hotel. Rooms like any Travelodge but clean and fresh. I recommend taking your cosmetics with you, but this does not mean that you will not find them in the room. 3 minutes from the hotel there is a bus stop and two buses to the city center. Cool quiet place exactly what I need.

I am currently staying in this deteriorating hotel due to an family visit to Scotland. I have not used a TL branded hotel before, there won’t be another occasion (ever) Unfortunately due to a festival i was unable to find something nearby to book, i would have had no issue losing out money on this booking. The rooms smell, there is clearly damp problem. Rooms are in desperate need of a refresh. While the duvet was clean, I was nervous to sleep in the bed, bathroom is dated dirty and needs a deep clean. I understand this hotel does not market itself as any high end hotel, but would be nice that if we didn’t pay a premium for poor quality rooms and hotel.
