The location of this hotel is right at the shopping district so my family and I just had our luggage kept before check-in time and started shopping when we arrived in the morning. Plenty of restaurants and izakayas around the area and there’s a 7/11 at the ground floor of the hotel. The room we got (good for 4) was a bit small. There was only enough room to open a carry-on size suitcase. But despite the size, we still enjoyed the room for being cozy and clean. We even brought bug spray with us just in case there were bedbugs but didn’t find a need for it even after careful inspection of the mattress, carpet, etc. Free drinks and other amenities are offered in the lobby and there are smoking rooms on some designated floors. Vessel Inn Sakae is a great value hotel when in Nagoya.

Cozy room with excellent location near subway and TV tower. You can go everywhere to find restaurants/stores easily. The breakfast is good too, but the space is too small to open suitcases if you stay in economy room. As hotel located in lively downtown, it’s a little bit like a complicated district if you walk alone at night and being single.

Great location, near subway. But just to remind you if you are carrying big luggage I suggest you don’t go out EXIT 1 (long stairs), go to opposite side which is EXIT 8. There is a escalator right at the end of the exit, you just have to cross traffic light and go straight. To reach the hotel. There is a 7-11 right at the bottom of the hotel so super convenient. The hotel provides most of the things you need, shaver, cleanse cream, cotton buds, tooth brush, etc. On a smaller side, if you have a suitcase that opens in the middle then it will block the path.
