I stayed for one night with my wife and son. We booked a Junior Suite with one bedroom. We arrived at about 5 pm, settled in quickly. The hotel was almost empty, probably only 20 people.... winter - there are very few tourists. The room is spacious, there is air conditioning for heating, which is very important for Portugal ... There was no kettle in the room - which is also quite standard for Portugal (for non-chain European hotels) ... The breakfast is very good. The staff is polite and professional. The late eviction was allowed until 13.30. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, so in summer it is most likely very good to relax here. I recommend the hotel, although it is located a short distance from the center, but on the other hand it is very close to the bus station and the Flixbus stop.

Such a great place to stay with family. The staff are very helpful, welcoming and friendly in all departments. It was my daughters 7th birthday the day we arrived and they sent her a small room service surprise which was such a nice touch. The room with pool view was clean and tidy. The pools are amazing! Don't be fooled there are 3 pools, 1 indoor, a main one outdoor and a kids outdoor pool too with a small play area which was so entertaining us adults could relax without worrying. The facilities round the hotel was very accessible clean and nice especially for the kids. We had the buffet breakfast whicj was fresh and nice. We also ate at the restaurant for the buffet dinner. The food was very good quality but not a massive selection. The location from the landmarks and central area is about 20min walk so it wasn't great especially in the heat. A great place to stay to enjoy the hotel with the kids but not great for visiting tourist sites.

We stayed at this hotel for one night in June. Check in was fast, rooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Staff was professional and attentive always ready to help. Hotel atmosphere was very relaxing. I will recommend this hotel if you are visiting Coimbra University and the vicinity.

The hotel is great as any Vila Gale hotel. However, this hotel was not so great about staff in sauna - they were pretty rude and asked to book a sauna in advance regardless people there. We booked sauna and were there alone because nobody wants it. Why ask for booking in this case? The rooms are okay but a little bit old. Parking is paid - that’s a little bit surprised me because in other hotels - it’s free. Location is not great as well - just in front of railway.
