This is a rating for the 90min private hot springs room only. Water House takes walk-ins only for these rooms. They allow two people for the rooms and give you a call when you have 15min left. The room was gorgeous and had a great view of the mountains and stream. The room does not have a bed, but they do provide bottled water and bath amenities. Great experience for those who cannot stay overnight

Had a great experience! Booked their Superior Double Room for a one night stay on 11/9 for $144 USD. Pros - Check in was at 6pm, but we arrived a little earlier and got our room immediately. - Access to both a lovely private en suite hot spring with Mountain View’s and public hotel hot spring. - I forgot my charger, but they had plenty to borrow at the front desk! - both Chinese and western breakfasts were tasty and filling! - breakfast service was very attentive. I noticed a fellow guest’s partner was not able to join for breakfast, so the staff packed the food for her to take back to the room. Cons - no hangers, not a big issue for me - had to use door handles as towel rack, also not a big issue - water pipes were kinda loud which was a bit spooky and kept me up at night Overall, a great experience that I’m glad we did!

It’s a short 7 min walk from the MRT station. It’s located across the street from the public hot springs. The walk from the station is a nice stroll through the park where you pass by the public library and hot spring museum. We had an appointment for 1.5 hour hot spring bath. The room has a sink, shower, toilet and a good size tub that fits two adults comfortably.

Booked the private room for 2 hours without bed because we just wanted to experience the beitou hot spring water, but the interior was very basic. It looked boring and old, not instagrammable. Also not cozy at all. We couldn’t even feel any difference after soaking in the water for two hours (yes we have tried hot springs at other places and could feel the difference). Honestly couldn’t tell if it’s just normal tap water or what. Not sure about the other room types they offer and the public experience but mine fell below expectations. Staff was nice and friendly though. Even offered us suggestions on where to visit nearby.
