This place is the best hidden gem I’ve ever found! The location is perfect and the entire experience revolves around the AMAZING Wellborn patio and restaurant right outside the room onsite. It’s a beautiful hidden patio with lights and trees and music and the best food I’ve ever had at a tapas place. The rooms are simple and basic, king sized bed was great, kitchenette and bathroom very clean. The only feedback I have is that the living room area is very dated, stained couch and one uncomfortable desk chair, so it was not a comfortable place to hang out and I never used it. Would be great to have comfortable updated furniture. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and I will definitely be back soon!

Edit to add that I was refunded for my room with no hot water and offered another room for my third night. Unfortunately, the new room did not really have hot water either but the coolness was slightly more tolerable than the cold water in my first room. So in conclusion I do honestly really like the atmosphere at this hotel. The courtyard is gorgeous and for the space you get and the location the rates are a good deal. It is unfortunate they are having plumbing issues and I really hope they can work it out because this place is so nice otherwise. Consider staying here but maybe call ahead and see if the repair work is complete. Previous Review-:NO HOT WATER. I've stayed here twice and enjoyed my other stays. This time there is no hot water in my room which is pretty unacceptable without major compensation. They offered me just 30 dollars the first night, then 60 the second, but that still means I have to stay in a room with no hot water. Selling someone a room without a basic amenity is just not right.

Great historic hotel right in the heart of downtown. The courtyard turns into a hip bar most evenings. No problem parking my car in the evenings right next to my room. Stayed in a spacious suite. Other than the excess compressor noise from the small fridge the room was completely modern and clean. This is my second time at a Sonder hotel and I fully enjoy the way they keep staffing to a minimum.
