I was impressed by the attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, providing a relaxing environment. The hotel also offered excellent conference facilities, perfect for business events. However, there was a slight downside as the soundproofing could be improved, especially noticeable with noises from the corridor getting into the room. While it may be a bit of nitpicking, it would be beneficial for the hotel to offer a variety of pillow options, as the ones provided were too thick for my personal preference. Overall, a pleasant stay with exceptional service and amenities, especially the rooftop restaurant and the view 🤩, but some minor improvements could enhance the overall experience.

Nice hotel well located to have tourist activities. Top roof bar has a fantastic view of Athens just in front of Acropolis. Iconic! Rooms are well organized and clean. Breakfast buffet at top row is delicious with a stunning view.

While the Wyndham Athens has its positive aspects, such as the helpful ladies at the bar who provided ice for our day trips and the courteous gentlemen who handled our luggage, and the view of the Acropolis from our room, the overall customer service experience has been lacking. The hotel room itself, though not expected to be a focal point of the trip, held some noteworthy features. The bathroom's beautiful marble added an elegant touch, but it's important to note that the large rain shower head may not cater to the needs of all guests. This realization, particularly regarding its suitability for individuals with different hair types, highlights the importance of inclusive amenities. Calling the front desk proved to be an exercise in frustration. The individuals answering the phone seemed disinterested and consistently claimed difficulty hearing me, despite my attempts to clarify that the issue likely lay with their phone equipment. This created an unnecessary hurdle in communication, making simple inquiries feel like an inconvenience. Upon closer inspection of the room, disappointments emerged. The safety latch on the door was broken, compromising the security of the accommodation. Additionally, an unpleasant lingering smell in the bathroom detracted from the overall comfort. While the Wyndham Athens has its merits, it falls short of the expectations set by the grandeur implied in its name. The inconsistencies in customer service, coupled with maintenance issues, dampen the overall impression of what should be a stellar hotel experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very nice Hotel located in the north area of Athens. The manager and the staff are very professional, polite and helpful. The room is very big and so clean with a comfortable big size bed. On the roof (9th floor), there is a Restaurant where I have had an amazing breakfast and snacks. From here I could observe an outstanding panaromic view of Athens. The food is fresh and very tasty. Highly recommended!!!

Listed as a 5* hotel and not very expensive because in an area of Athens that is not very nice. Do not wander around too much or you will literally see junkies shooting heroine or quiet a few “Open - Welcome” signs of other kind of hotels if you know what I mean. Walking distance to the main attractions but not the most pleasant walk. The hotel itself is nice. Great view on the Acropolis, large rooms, top floor pool. Must have been a gem when it opened but the maintenance has not been sustained. Same for the housekeeping, not all coffee pods are replenished, etc. We had to wipe the floor of the room because of spilled glass of water and it was obvious the floor had not been cleaned in a few months. The breakfast buffet has everything. Not the best products, machine coffee was not good so €28 for the breakfast was a bit much. The Bread factory across the street is a better option. If you can live with the junkies and cat houses around, it’s a very convenient place to stay.
