Amazing hotel, the best hotel of our trip! The rooms were large, thoughtfully laid out with a beautiful modern and sophisticated feel. Beds large and comfortable. It was absolutely quiet and safe as well, despite being in an entertainment area. The location was perfect for restaurants, bars and sightseeing. Easy walk to everything.

Stunning hotel with huge rooms in the heart of Kyoto. The hotel itself is next to a Shinto Shrine, which makes for an incredible atmosphere, and you can reach anywhere in Gion or Higashiyama on foot. The rooms were by far the biggest ones we have been in Japan. The bath and the shower were together in Japanese style, and they were quite incredible and high-tech, allowing also you to preheat or cool down the room. The WC was hyper sophisticated as well (self cleaning, automatic opening and closing). Everything was clean, and the staff was always super helpful. On top of this, the price was incredibly low. For sure it was the hotel with the best value for money we have ever been, everywhere. We will be back for sure.
