If you misplace your baggage or your belongings at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi, Guwahati please do not worry. We are here to help our customers retrieve their lost items. All the agencies at the airport are directed to deposit any unclaimed goods under the lost & found property. The goods are deposited after duly recording the contents, description, date & time of depositing, and the depositor's signature.
The lost property is kept on as is where is basis. The airport is not liable for any damages to any lost property under its custody. Baggage handling and delivery at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati is the responsibility of airlines from the point of check-in to the point of collection. If anything is left onboard the aircraft, respective airlines should be contacted immediately.
All the lost & found items are submitted here so that passengers can reclaim them with proper identification with the permission of the Duty Terminal Manager (DTM). If a passenger loses something inside the Security Hold Area, they can contact the nearest CISF officer.
Timings
The operating window to claim the items left behind at the terminal is between 09:00 am to 09:00 pm (Everyday).
Lost & Found Claim Process:
Step 1: Report your lost item just by simply filling the enquiry form below and submit your details.
Step 2: Lost & Found team will verify the details and revert to the passenger.
Step 3: In case the item is verified, the lost article/articles may be claimed on producing the following documents during working hours only:
- Copy of Boarding Pass / Ticket
- A letter filled and signed by the owner with details of the items being claimed
- Government-authorized photo identity card, preferably Passport / Driving License / Aadhaar Card / Voter Card
In case the passenger is not able to claim the item in person, they may authorize someone to collect it on their behalf.
