The Hubli Airport (HBX) is located on Gokul Road, located around 8 km to the west of the city of Hubli-Dharwad. Spread over 369 acres, it is the third busiest and fastest-growing airport in Karnataka. In 2013, the airport was sanctioned for development when the government of Karnataka signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Airports Authority of India (AAI). It is a domestic airport that is connected to around 7 destinations including Bangalore, Mysore, Mumbai, Tirupati, Mangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad & Chennai.
