Pune International Airport (PIA; IATA - PNQ) is a major international airport in the Indian state of Maharashtra, located around 10 km northeast of the city centre. The Airports Authority of India operates a civil enclave on the western side of the Indian Air Force's Lohegaon Air Force Station.

The Pune International Airport is an important a hub for flights within the country and beyond, with a focus on flights to and from West Asia. Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum

Kelkar Museum, founded by Baba Dinkar Kelkar in 1962, is one of Pune’s most famous tourist attractions. Located at Shukawar Peth on Bajirao Road, it is currently under the administration of the Maharashtra government’s department of archaeology. Baba Kelkar gathered a collection of about 20,000 articles from around the world, which he donated to the Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum. He established the museum in honour of his son, who died when he was only seven. The museum houses a vast collection of musical instruments; paintings; Mughal lamps and antiques; paintings depicting scenes from the Ramayana; carved palace doors; terracotta, copper, and brass vessels; and a pottery collection. The Chennai International Airport (IATA - MAA) is located about 21 km south of Chennai’s city centre. It was formerly known as the Madras International Airport. Owned by the Government of India, the Chennai International Airport is operated by the Airports Authority of India.
