The environment is quiet, and most Venetian locals come to walk around here. The room is directly on the water. There is a water boiler and a refrigerator, which is convenient for us to store food and make tea and coffee. Customer service is very responsive and friendly. The information at check-in was also very clear, making everything smooth. It is also easy to walk from the pier Ospedale to Alla Vigna, allowing tourists to relax more. Highly recommended!

I've stayed here before and I returned despite complications with electricity because the price was reasonable and the location was good. I was overall pleased with my last experience. This time, not so much. Something went missing from my room and the staff excused this with "That's impossible, we have cameras". It was a €60 item and I had used it in the morning, we went out and when we came back it was gone. I asked if anybody else had access to the room and again, all they kept saying was "It's impossible, we have cameras". Pretty sure if someone were to steal something they wouldn't wave it around in areas there might be cameras. I was angry and frustrated with the whole situation of something going missing in a place you should feel safe to store your personal belongings, but now I'm furious about the way they handled the situation as well. Very unprofessional.

It's a nice old hotel built 500 years ago and renovated inside. It has a nice view on the channel. Pros: renovated bathroom, comfortable, large rooms, comfortable beds, channel view if you're lucky to get a room with a view. Cons: overpriced (like everything in Venice), breakfast is a bit basic, the bnb is a bit remote.
