The hostel is a gem in the Old Quarter, offering an ideal location for exploring. Mornings are greeted with complimentary coffee and tea, perfect for kick-starting a day of adventure. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day. What's more, the hostel boasts clean restrooms with hot water for showers, and a dedicated table for work or planning your next journey. But the real highlight is the staff; they are exceptional, helping guests book buses and tours at fantastic prices. Banana Hostel truly understands the needs of travelers!

I loved this place - qreat location (in the middle of all the events) quiet from the main street (it’s nicely hidden in between the buildings) lovely receptionist (always happy to talk)🫶🏼 Modern, clean and nicely organised, the funny thing was I needed to climb to the third bunk bed, but it was cool for me. The only think I struggle with even though I am 1.6 m tall, the shower room on the female floor is just so small without the hangers.. Over all, great experience!! If I am back in Hanoi, I will definitely come back☺️

Favourite hostel in Hanoi :) Super cheap, yet top-notch quality. There’s cleaner everyday. Super helpful staff that can answer any question. They're pros at organizing tours, and even in the early morning, someone's always at the front desk. Although toilet is a bit small but not a big problem.

The staff were very lovely but this hostel was just the worst. So many stairs to climb with no handrail whilst carrying my suitcase. Then getting up to the top bunk (which is 3 bunks high) is super hard. Thankfully they moved me to a bottom bunk because I honestly would've just left otherwise. Showers were pretty dirty. Should be cleaned more often. The hostel isn't where it's marked on Google maps, it is much further back down a long messy alleyway. Not much of a common area, so not the best place for meeting people.
