Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very nice and modern. Great views of the mountains and a nice balcony. Very close to the start of all the shops so the perfect location. Parking was included and had no issues finding a spot. The included buffet breakfast was actually fantastic. Loved that the hot tubs were outside. There is also a coffee shop in the main lobby which was super convenient. Overall had a fantastic stay and will def be back, loved this hotel!

From the outside I was skeptical, but what a beautiful hotel! renovated nicely and the hot tubs are great in the winter! The front desk went above and beyond to make sure things were great! the hot tubs outside the room are great! the hotel rooms are beautiful! only downside is that you have to go outdoors to reach them. Breakfast was yummy and included. Highly recommend this hotel. It's a great value, will definitely be back! Indoor heated parking was the cherry on top!

Had great stay this last week. Room was great with a great view, great layout for a family of 4! Breakfast in the morning was convenient and pretty good, staff was always helpful. Sometimes there was a small wait but nothing major. One thing I didn’t like about breakfast was that I watched staff turn over tables and if the butter or jams hadn’t been eaten they were reused for the next table which to me was not sanitary and should be corrected. We loved the added benefit of the free coffee from the little cafe downstairs if we skipped room cleaning. We collected ours all weekend and enjoyed $25 in free drinks at the end of our trip, great perk which we will definitely be returning for. Reception staff was always nice and helpful. Location was also great. Easy walk all over Banff. Parking was also a breeze. We stayed over Christmas and New Year’s holiday and even with how busy things were, it was never an issue.

I wrestled whether to give a 3 star or 4 but I felt decent after the stay so I gave it a 4. Our checking in experience left us with a really bad taste in our mouth as the first room we checked into had food that wasn't vacuumed up on the floor. Then the second room we were offered had a stain on the bedding. The third room had a nasty stained couch but we were kind of fed up about it and we could get by without having to sit on the couch. But obviously that's not the experience you want when you go to a hotel. The front staff were really friendly though so I can't fault them for someone else's oversight unless they share responsibilities. But the front staff person did offer to simply vacuum which is nice but still kind of that blah feeling. But everywhere else in the lobby and other areas the hotel was clean. The hot tubs were really nice. The breakfast was good but the service from the staff is what made it really great. They are always very cheerful and trying to make everyone have a pleasant experience. So definitely it was a good experience from the service side but yeah that initial checking in experience sucked but it was still a positive experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Banff Aspen Lodge over the New Year for three nights. Our room, exceeded all expectations. It was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The highlight was the incredible shower - easily the best we've ever experienced, and it was huge! The efficiency of the check-in and check-out processes was impressive, and the staff were consistently friendly throughout our stay. I asked at Reception on two separate occasions for extra wine & champagne glasses and they were delivered to our room within minutes. The location is perfect, just a convenient two-block walk into the main shopping area of Banff. Breakfast was a delightful experience each morning, with attentive and friendly staff. A special shout-out to Abby, who truly stood out with her loveliness, efficiency, and keen observation. While everyone was great, Abby's exceptional service added an extra touch to our mornings. Thank you Abby. The lobby's fabulous coffee shop, the cozy fire pit outside, and the overall ambience of the Banff Aspen Lodge were inviting and contributed to a memorable stay. We always managed to secure underground parking, which added to the convenience of our visit. Although we didn't get a chance to try it, we heard rave reviews about the hot tub from fellow guests who described it as fantastic. We highly recommend Banff Aspen Lodge to anyone visiting the area. Our only regret is not capturing our experience with photos to share. Thank you for providing such a fantastic retreat in the heart of Banff!
