What an incredible stay at Bergwelt Grindelwald. Quite possibly the most memorable hotel stay I’ve ever had. I booked 2 nights here for my birthday trip, and everything was perfect from the free shuttle from the station, to check in, and to again dropping off at the station. The rooms are incredibly spacious, comfortable, modern, and with such charm. Complimentary minibar is also a plus. I had the corner room and the views are just out of this world - I don’t think the photos do it justice. Staff are incredibly attentive and warm - I had a birthday cake served to me during breakfast, and the next day they were able to remember I take oat milk with my coffee. It is the small gestures like these that remind you how luxurious this hotel is. And the spa - incredible. Plenty of privacy and choices for saunas. I had a facial done here and it was just glorious. The breakfast spread is also amazing. I really could not fault anything - would highly recommend this hotel for a special occasion! Thank you to the team for your warmth and hospitality!

My husband and I spent 4 nights here in early September while visiting the Swiss Alps. We really enjoyed our stay and thought the staff and amenities all exceeded our expectations. The hotel is situated up a large hill approximately 3 minutes walk from Grindelwald first. We pushed our luggage up the hill but alternatively could have contacted the hotel for a van. I would say that it could be difficult for a person with mobility issues to reach this hotel day in and day out given the large hill/staircase. The view from our room was amazing and it was a feat to wake up to daily. The breakfast buffet is one of the best ones we had in Switzerland and filled us up prior to our hiking trips. The mini bar was free and refilled by housekeeping. The mattress was slightly on the firm side which is how we like it. We had utilized the spa that was free for guests and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi and saunas. We were able to get time slots easily in the morning for later on in the day. We also had deep tissue massage and facial done which was very relaxing. The therapists were friendly and accommodated our needs. Highly recommended!

Fantastic resort hotel with kind, accommodating staff and lots of extras. The jacuzzi had an incredible view of the mountains, and there was a selection of saunas at different temperatures. Room was perfect, clean and comfortable with a beautiful mountain view and little balcony. Staff were super helpful and kind, and let us check out an hour late with no charge so we could hang out in the sauna. Great breakfast buffet
