Great value for minimal hotel. Clean, comfortable. Small rooms but has refrigerator and coffee maker. Small lift so easy to get luggage up. Superb staff and great location.

Bunkahaus Hotel was one of the best hotels I have stayed in from all my travels! I stayed in the King Suite room, which is a good size for up to 2 people. This hotel is in an amazing location as it was only 2 minutes away from both Taksim Mosque and Taksim Square; public transport was also good around the area. What made this hotel unique was the Japanese theme, which is something totally different that you won't see in other hotels. The hotel rooms were clean and room service was amazing. I came back to the hotel room every evening to find it tidy and replenished with towels and toiletries. The Hotel staff Mia and Bekram were extremely friendly, and they helped me out with everything I needed. Their English was excellent, so it was very easy to communicate. Also, they sorted me out with a SIM card at a great price and even set it up for me. They also sorted out taxi transfers for me at a great price, which was half the price that regular taxi drivers were going to overcharge me for. There is nothing that I did not like - I would highly recommend this hotel to other people looking to go to Istanbul. Especially if you would like to stay within the Taksim area, which I would recommend as opposed to the Sultan Ahmet area (Old City). The area is much nicer and developed, there is more shops, restaurants, cafes, and activities to do. Overall, I would give this hotel 10/10 and I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was to come back to Istanbul.

I'm so satisfied about bunkahaus hotel, yes small but so clean 👌 and very tidy. Inspite of small area but I can find everything like wardrobe, safe, refrigerator, TV, air-conditioner, mini bar and clean bathroom. The location very near to Taksim underground station, mini Market beside the hotel and restaurants around it. The staff very friendly and helpful, If you ask them to do something they do it within minutes, I feel like at my home and family. Finally I would like to thank Mr. Behram, Mrs. May and Mrs.Gonca I so grateful to them and hope to be there again and meet those kind people 💓 💛 ❤️

Pros: really kind and helpful staff. Always caring and asking what you need and they do their best in making you feel comfortable. Super clean rooms in all aspects. Cons: located at an extremely noisy neighborhood. You can hear all sorts of noise coming from the mosque just behind the hotel, bars and discos all over. This is not a place for those who want to have a sound sleep during the night because you can't get any at all.
