Fantastic place, very nicely decorated rooms and breakfast room, perfectly clean, and Maurizio and Magdalena very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Location is perfect with a 15min walk to St Mark's and 15min walk to train station, so easy to get to even with luggage since b&b located in quiet street (don't underestimate the pain of getting around crowded parts of Venice with luggage!). Would definitely stay here again if visiting Venice!

Fantastic location, close to the centre but located in a quiet street. Lovely room with air con, sadly the bathroom has no windows so thats a bit stuffy but thats my only slight complain. The host is friendly and very helpful and the breakfast is filling and very tasy with many options to choose from. Gorgeous vibe of the building we had a wonderful couple of days, highly recommend!

To be clear: this is not a review about the rooms of the hotel but about the customer service or better said the lack of good customer service. Three weeks before our holidays, which will take place in mid July 2020 (means during Covid times) we booked our room there for 3 nights over their homepage with credit card. Everything went normal, we got an email that the room is reserved for us. One week before our holiday we suddenly got an email something went wrong with the credit card (what never happens before) and they cancel our reservation - my partner answered the mail 5 minutes after we got it to ask what the problem is and to make sure we can still get the room. The manager told us unfortunately it is already booked out now. 10min after they cancelled our reservation. During Covid times - where half of the hotelrooms are not booked. First of all, to be honest, for me that's not how the customer service of any hotel or b&b should work and that never happend to me before. Without any effort to solve the problem (we didn't know existed) a week before the holidays they just ditch the reservation and it is booked again after a few minutes in the early afternoon (During times where half of the hotels in Venice are available because of less tourists due to covid). Tbh for me it's kind of hard to believe. Due to covid and the circumstances that Venice is lacking their mass of tourists we found a cheaper room in a different b&b that seems to be equally to the room we booked here that got cancelled.

Loved staying at B&B Cà Del Modena. We met Nicola who was wonderful, was very accommodating, and gave us lots of tips during our stay in Venice. The breakfast that was provided was generous and very delicious. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. It was a short walking distance to the San Stae water shuttle stop which was very convenient when arriving and leaving with our luggage. The location is also walking distance from all the top sights in Venice. I definitely recommend.
