Nice place to spend the night. Room was nice and big with super high ceilings. Check-in was nice and quick but finding the office was a challenge, it's on the 1st floor where the small sign for the hotel is located. Centrally located, great breakfast to get the morning started. If you read this post, please give it a thumbs-up

We arrived at 6 pm at the end of December. It was dark and cold and we just walked 20 minutes from the ferry to the hotel through narrow streets, trusting that Google maps would take us to the right place. It was obviously our first visit to Venice. When we arrived to the place where it said the hotel should be, we looked around aimlessly not knowing where to go. After a few minutes, we located the door beside the ATM. It was a welcome sight. As soon as we opened the door, we were greeted by the person at the front desk. He hurried down the stairs and helped us with our bags. From that moment on, we knew we were in good hands. He helped us with restaurant choices, and even helped us when we had to call the airline for our flight home because we don't speak Italian. Staying at Ca Gottardi was one of the highlights of our trip. Oh yeah .. The room was fantastic as well.

Well located hotel, very friendly and welcoming staff, good rooms that could use a fresh up here and there. Good value for money. Not really accessible with lots of stairs, which wasn’t an issue for us.

Staying at this hotel was such a wonderful experience! I traveled to 4 Italian cities and out of all my stays, this hotel was by far the best. The staff are super friendly and helpful and made staying in Venice a very enjoyable experience! It is a lovely and very clean hotel with great coffee! I would recommend anyone to stay here, as I certainly would stay there again myself! 😄
