Great place in Venice with nearby shops, restaurants and most sites within a 45 min walk. The main bus, train, and waterbus stations are less than a 15 min walk away. Nice size rooms and great staff make it well worth the stay.

The location is great. Smack in the middle of Venice. The staff spoke English and were really helpful on tourist information. I believe they stated that they operate 9 rooms so book ahead of time. The room comes with a great breakfast and is walking distance to everything in Venice. Just watch out for the stairs. I had 4 pieces of luggage and had to lug them up 4 flights of stairs. There is no elevator. The property requires that one pay a city tax in cash at the end of your stay. Keep a few euros handy.

Palazzo Odini is a very nice place to stay in Venice. It's 6 minutes walking away from Piazzala Roma where the bus arives or the bus boats.. The watertaxi brought us from the airport Marco Polo direct to the front door of the hotel. There is a canal in front of the hotel, so easy to reach. The rooms are al situated around a court yard, away from the street. So there is serene peace at night. Breakfast is very complete, including baked eggs on demand, croissants, fresh fruits, cappuccino etc. The rooms are vere well equipped and we didn't miss anything! We we spoke with the owner about the 700 years of history of Palazzo Odini and their family history with the palazzo. It's a very pleasant place to stay and we can sertainly recommend it!
