We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. So we’ll located in the center of Venezia but in a calm spot away from the crowds and noise. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, helped with luggage storage and gave us a very nice and clean room with exterior view of the nice surroundings. Air conditioner works well, very appreciated during summer time, the showers is wonderful and relaxing, there is Netflix in the room. Really good for the price, we loved it here.

This is the correct address. Google maps shows two different locations if you just search for La Locandiera, but this one is correct. The other doesn’t exist. Once you get here, though, the hotel is very cute. The rooms are not fancy and no frills but they are clean and nice. The staff is so helpful and friendly and the location is quiet and cute even while being just a few minutes walk from St. Mark’s square. This place is worth it and we’ll be staying here again.

Great clean hotel to stay and very close to the main square of venice. Would definitely stay at the hotel again. Great value for money and in a nice quiet area. Only negative is that there is not always staff on the premises everyday however they do provide you with a contact number.

Three things are good about this property: (1) location (2) a great A/C, and (3) it's clean. There is no staff on site, except to clean. It's a self-service hotel. Check-in was easy after spending money to make an international call in order to check-in. The place is a two-star hotel for a reason - it's plain and simple. Not one piece of artwork anywhere in the building. It is a place to sleep and nothing more. The rooms are very small and not worth paying $300/night....ever. There are much better hotels all around. The hotel was the most disappointing part of Venice.

practically non-existent pest control. we got bitten by bed bugs in our first room and mosquitos in our second (went during winter time, can’t imagine during summer). bites on our face, hands, and legs. had very poor and almost no sleep because of the bugs. staff did not compensate for the pests and did little but point us to a laundromat for self-service laundry of our clothes. did not seem apologetic about the incident. and they even assigned the same room to new guests the same day. would definitely recommend against it.
