The service was absolutely phenomenal. We travel with our dog and no other property has had the amenities and care for our boy like Casa Munras. The room was clean and fashionably decorated. My fiance appreciated the fireplace to add an extra level of coziness. It's in a prime location to easily stroll downtown or to the wharf. Pay a little bit extra to stay here, it's well worth it!

Great location, clean court yards and pretty good sound proofing of rooms. We really enjoyed the complimentary bicycles, they were a great way to get down to the aquarium and back. They were also super pet friendly! My only dislike was the bed was worn out and the pillows were thin.

pretty good hotel, comfortable beds, good location, biggest downsize is the rooms are so dark and have very limited natural light. Last visit we had the junior suites and they were so dark and situated next to the lobbies air conditioning and laundry so its quite loud all the time. if you can get a room with west facing natural light its nice

Rooms are clean. The room is quite small, and the bathroom is roomy. The lobby is beautiful and comfortable. We had dinner in the attached restaurant. It was very nice. Restaurant service was attentive and efficient yet very friendly. The food we ordered was delightful as it was delicious and I think reasonable. We are not likely to stay at the hotel again as the rooms are just too small and poorly appointed at their price point. I would love to return to the restaurant someday as it was a beautiful room and the food was exceptional. It also has a great bar.

Dog friendly! The **best** location you could ask for as a traveler to the city of Monterey. Downtown main Street, farmers market Tuesday and the ocean (the wharf) are a beautiful 15 min walk. Plenty of excellent cafes and businesses are out your door, especially Wild Plum and Terra Foods. Prepare a little extra time for navigating the parking lot on arrival because of the one-way arrows... a little confusing, yet necessary for safety. The intersection right outside of Casa Munras' entrance by Denny's is also an odd one that requires yielding cautiously. Monterey Peninsula traffic patterns are a major "What were They Thinking" shrug but don't blame the hotel. 🤔 Casa Munras is typically affordable for the value! I hope they keep it that way.
